MT is still chasing Pembrokeshire National Park and Pembrokeshire County Council Highways department for news.

Winter Carnival

A bitterly cold but successful day. There were 4 floats and a very good number of walking entries

Town Developments

Pedestrianisation – PCC is proposing to use the same scheme as 2007

Royal Gatehouse/Norton – it was noted in the November minutes that an urgent repairs notice had been served on the owner of the mentioned properties, to date it seems nothing has been done.

Lifeboat station – the Welsh Assembly government have dismissed the application for listed building consent to demolish the lifeboat house on the grounds that there had been no formal exercise to market the building for viable commercial use.

Future of the Chamber – Nigel Firth (treasurer) retired from the Chamber and was thanked for all his dedicated, hard work over the last 12 years. MT volunteered for the post of acting treasurer until the AGM in March and would have to become a signatory on the Chamber account until then.

The new members’ recruitment drive would continue in January.
